Grip the Toy in one Hand and Turn the Red Cap with the Other:

Once the Food is in the toy, hold it with one hand. With the other hand, gently turn the red cap. As you turn the red cap,the hole on the side of the toy will change size, resulting in a hole of any size. The food will fall out of this hole when your cat rolls it across the floor. Crumbs will collect in the inner chamber and can be shaken out of the bottom of the toy. 'Snack Attack' is shown to the right. |

Simply put, you drop food down the red funnel at the end. Then you twist the black cap to adjust the dispensing hole to any size. Rattle the toy and place it on the floor, rolling it for your cat to show it dropping food. You can use the toy for snacks or for meals. Once the cat is comfortable with food coming out of the toy you can set it a lot smaller so that the food takes a lot longer to come out. It is important for cats to eat slower than they commonly do.
