I invented this toy to feed and entertain our two cats while my girlfriend (now my wife) went off to school every day. Normally while she was gone the cats would get into the trash or make a mess trying, or get onto the counter, treading their 'poo-paws' all over the place. They were also getting a little tubby and lazy because they were indoor cats (we didn't think they were tubby but our vet did). The Feeding Frenzy put an end to that. With the Feeding Frenzy our cats were entertained, fed, exercized, and mentally stimulated all at once with no effort or attention from my wife or myself. The cats get plenty of attention while we're home, and we often feed them by throwing food to them and letting them chase after it. But while we're out the Feeding Frenzy really is the best toy we have ever used for keeping them out of the trash, off the counter, and off diets.
While this toy dispenses your cat's breakfast, she is getting her exercise. As food falls out of the toy, she pounces at it then goes after the toy again. This toy will not drop crumbs on the floor like the other treat toys. It traps any crumbs generated from the food for you to remove very easily once in a while. Compared to other cat treat dispensers it's also a LOT easier to put the food in and can be cleaned/washed out very easily. The only one easier to clean is that little crumb dropping non-adjustable, non transparent ball. MOST OF ALL, THE FEEDING FRENZY IS INFINITELY ADJUSTABLE, and drops food, not crumbs, on the floor. Also, there is a compartment to place catnip in to encourage more 'enthusiastic' play! Please recommend our toy to your friends or vets or point them to our website.
